Action Library

You may store Actions in an Action library that may be used across multiple eLearning modules.  The Library can be used to store single or multiple actions from Information, Interaction and Feedback lists.  You may then paste any of these objects or sequences into other lists.  The Library speeds the process of entering items that are used repeatedly in a lesson (which you do not want to make persistent in the Lesson Background).

Examples of objects which might be useful in the Object Library:

  •  Title and sub-title text objects
  •  Customised buttons used in the Interaction tab
  •  Standard feedback (text and audio) for interaction questions
  •  Pointers and highlights - see Pointers and Highlights for more information

You can create a library that is specific to your current project.  (The file location of your libraries is set using Options - Set Paths from the Lesson dialog.)

  •  Select the Object Library from the Tools menu of the Lesson dialog (or press F4) to display the library.
(Note: Libraries can also be accessed from the Information, Interaction or Feedback tabs of an element dialog by using the Library button).
  • Selecting the Create new library button on the toolbar will display the Create new library dialog.
  •  Type a name for your library and click OK.
